Or does it mean leaving behind the expectations of others and growing into the person you were meant to be? My gentle yoga class emphasizes intentional and simultaneous engagement of individual postural alignment, mind-training techniques, and heartfelt connectedness, over strict physically-oriented asana-based practice. Together we will recall and affirm that our natural creature state is connection while what we experience in our lives is varying levels of accumulated resistance to that inherent harmony. Holding that understanding, you will be invited and guided to become your own guru, as you fine-tune your personal balance between structure and freedom, movement and stillness, and focus and play. Together we will aim to blur the line between yoga practice and life, and infuse our day-to-day life with a deep, playful intentionality. No prior yoga experience is necessary but please come with an open mind, a courageous heart, and an attitude of playful intentionality.
